Flickr photos tell the story of the River Walk’s unveiling
Mike Howell at the San Antonio Express-News created this Yahoo! Pipes interface for Saturday’s opening of the new Museum Reach of the River Walk. Anyone with a Flickr account who tagged their photos “sariver” could see their photos on our Web page.
If the pictures were taken with a cell phone and geocoded, they showed up on a map.
It was a cool way for people to share their discoveries on a segment of the River Walk that, until recently, was closed to the public.
